3.
English
Spanish
Japanese.
I speak a little French, German, Italian, and Chinese but not enough to carry a conversation.

Gee whiz, what a wonderful question. So thought provoking!

You teach me Japanese, and I'll teach you French. =P I tried to get into beginning Japanese for next semester, but they were all full. Sad.

Kinda hard to teach Japanese over the internet though... We can try?

Haha, we could try. I imagine French would be hard over the internet, too, because some of the pronunciation is ridiculous. I was trying to help teach it for a while on Muse Bunny, but it got too frustrating.

that's quite impressive! i am in the midst of learning german right now, although it will probably take me a while since languages don't come easily to me.

did you learn spanish and japanese in school or did you pick them up elsewhere?

german is harrrd. the only languages I've tried to take and failed at are german and arabic. Arabic because there was no way I could take in all of that stuff at 9 AM, and German because it's FREAKIN' HARD. crazy tenses and shit.

I learned Spanish a couple years before I learned English, so they're both my native languages. Japanese has all been in college. Same with Chinese, but I don't like the program here so I dropped and didn't finish the first year. My friends are trying to teach me just through regular conversation. According to my professor, I have a lot of potential ;)

I am jealous of your polyglot status. Wouldn't be surprised if you were fluent in those other four languages in the next few years too. :P

It COULD happen, but I'm probably going to pick up Dutch and Danish before that as I'm planning on moving to Copenhagen and Amsterdam once I finish law school.
